DIY store B&Q has been forced to recall a hedge trimmer for fear of injury.

After rigorous quality control procedures, the hedge trimmers motor has been found to fail, with a potential risk of fragments being ejected through the casing vents.

The Mac Allister 710W Electric Hedge Trimmer MHTP710 with the barcode: 5052931430734 was sold between January 2015 and September 2016.

Customers who purchased this hedge trimmer have been advised to stop using it immediately and return it to your local store for a refund. Alternatively, you can contact the helpline on 0300 303 4482 (UK), or 1800 946 327 (ROI).
